Kršljanin, Vladimir. 2021. Russian Political Thought Today. Belgrade: Institute for
Political Studies: Informatics; Moscow: International Slavic Academy of Sciences,
Education, Arts and Culture. ISBN 978-86-84497-91-0
This panorama of the Russian political mainstream contains texts by the most famous Russian politicians, scientists and patriotic journalists, written in the last three years, which Kršljanin selected and translated, and some of them accompanied by comments. The collection contains a total of 30 texts by 25 authors, of which the most well-known to our public are: V. Putin, S. Baburin, G. Zyuganov, S. Glazyev, A. Dugin, V. Surkov, I. Panarin, N. Narochnitskaya, N. Patrushev, J. Guskova, S. Karaganov.
The book also discusses the most current international and the most significant Russian political, as well as economic and spiritual topics. In terms of the breadth of its scope, such books are rare in the world, but also in Russia itself, although interest in the political dimension of contemporary Russia is growing everywhere.
Reviewers and epigraphists, Živojin Đurić and Marko Pejković, noted that Kršljanin selected the texts in accordance with the cornerstone of the Russian idea as a dominantly spiritual category. According to Đurić and Pejković, the common feature of all the texts in this book is that the spiritual has primacy over the material, that Orthodoxy is the main spiritual feature of historical Russia, and that the world must not be unipolar.
The book is a joint publication of the Institute for Political Studies and the company "Informatika" from Belgrade and the International Slavic Academy of Sciences, Education, Arts and Culture from Moscow.
